Artist Biography
London based artist blending poetry and music. This eclectic sound has given Banwo opportunities to work with the BBC on several campaigns and Latitude Festival. His journey is unique and he is pushing to make room for his sound in the industry.
Describing his music as somewhere between poetry and music, Banwo delights in the fact that his music is not something people would expect from him and by following in the footsteps of his main inspirations, he knows just exactly where in the industry his music will prevail.
Although Banwo draws inspiration from other musicians, his sound remains firmly in his own lane. It’s refreshing and exciting in equal measures to watch Banwo revitalise the core elements of making music which have stuck with him since a young child writing poetry in church all those years ago.
