Artist Biography
At the age of 17, KaySmokez is already in talks with big labels to launch his career after just one song on Instagram caught their eye.
One of the most exciting artists to step onto the scene in 2020 and 2021 is young rapper KaySmokez from Manchester.
KaySmokez has spent a week at TULU HQ in January writing, recording and exploring the depths in which his music ability can take him with the right team and production behind him.
During this week KaySmokez and the TULU team orchestrated this unplugged performance of one of the tracks created during the week.
Although young, KaySmokez has a wealth of life experience which are authentically spoken about in his deep, honest and raw lyrics. It is early days for this young rapper’s career but it is certainly not starting out with the usual long wait before industry eyes begin to notice. Many large labels are already keeping a close eye on him.
KaySmokez also spent a week in London recording with Hutch, undoubtably one of the most compelling producers in the UK rap scene today.
